8 New Colourpop Ultra Matte Lipsticks

OMG! Colourpop recently released 8 new shades to their Ultra Matte lipstick collection. I’m so excited!!! Clearly, I love matte lipstick and I know many of you out there do too.

If you haven’t heard of Colourpop you are totally missing out! They’re a new brand on the scene rising to the top quickly. They are mostly known for their amazing pigmented affordable eyeshadows. Now, they are known for their amazing ultra matte lipsticks. Did I forget to add these only cost six bucks! You tell me where you can find something better than that with the amazing quality like these Colourpop lipsticks.

Hopefully by the time you’re done reading this post they won’t be sold out like the previous collection. So, enough of me yapping, let’s get into these lip swatches!

Pros : Extremely pigmented, last for a long time, very matte, affordable, great texture, cruelty free

Cons : tends to flake if you apply too much product, difficult to remove, can get streaky if you apply too much product in one area more than another

    Thanks for swatching, love seeing colors on deeper skin tones so I can get a feel of what will look okay on me. “Beeper” is cute, but I’m afraid it’s too close to Anastasia Beverley Hills Liquid Lipstick in “Sepia”. I have 3 of these colors and they just don’t compare in texture/application (even the actual applicator is a tad cheap), to ABH Liquid Lipstick. I think I’ll save up my coins instead of buying more ColourPop

    I love that you post these because personally, it’s hard for me to find lipstick colors that would suit my olive skin tone and you’ve made it easier for me! It comes out more accurate for me than referring to a person with fair skin. For that, I thank you. ?

    Thank you for doing the swatches! How do you prevent these liquid lipsticks from bleeding outside your lips? I wore LAX today with NYX slim lip liner but by the end of the day I had pinkish purple all around my lips just outside my lip line 🙁 your advice would be much appreciated!!!

    These look so awesome on you! What do you think of Dr. M and Be-Dazzled? I know some of their shades are a bit trickier to apply than others or look kind of streaky. Hopefully these two are alright!

      Thanks! Dr. M & Be-Dazzled has pretty great texture. I thought it was going to be streaky or patchy but it wasn’t. 🙂
